Now you can work literally from your couch and have a part-time job online, or even a full-fledged high salary. Today we will talk about specific examples of vacancies that have been found in Ukraine with a salary of several tens of thousands of hryvnias over the past six months.
Design Engineer
We mentioned vacancies in production, and we will start with this one. Nowadays, in particular due to large-scale Russian attacks on the industry and its facilities, it is not advisable or necessary to keep the entire design office physically in one place. Modern software (such as Zoom or Google Meet) allows you to hold discussions at any time. You can do whatever you want - from a business discussion of projects with heated arguments over technical solutions to a calm conversation about the future direction of development.

Of course, such jobs are mostly offered in modern companies where up-to-date knowledge and non-standard solutions are valued.

- Creo
- Solidworks
- MAYA
- Blender
This way you will be able to provide the most popular services. It will also be useful to know a foreign language at a sufficient level. After all, it will be needed both to work with various programs and to get acquainted with specialised literature or articles, as well as for working communication or correspondence if the company is associated with foreign partners. Thus, you can work for both Ukrainian and foreign companies.
The only thing is that you will need to expand your knowledge significantly. It will be very useful if you study the systems of standards inherent in the European or American market, as they differ significantly from DSTU. Salaries start from 25-30 thousand hryvnias, and the upper threshold can be very high, depending on your qualifications and financial expectations.
Junior lawyer/legal assistant
Just graduated from law school or already have a little experience but are tired of commuting to an office on the other side of town? Then remote work as a lawyer is definitely a good chance to change your life.
What do you have to do? Literally the same thing - write contracts, communicate with clients, sometimes (if necessary) with government agencies, and of course, keep abreast of the legislation. For example, if the rules for registering real estate change, you need to know this immediately and tell your boss. This kind of "on the run" activity takes a lot of time, but the flexible work schedule compensates for it.

If you are a beginner, you can start as a paralegal and with experience move on to something more serious, especially if it is a large law firm. Salaries in this area are somewhere between 30-40 thousand hryvnias. And if you get into a cool firm, you can get even more (but with experience and work experience, of course).
Teacher/tutor
We have combined these two vacancies into one because they are largely related and the above will be true for both types of work. Nowadays, distance learning is very common in Ukraine. Everything familiar to us from childhood went downhill during the times of covid restrictions and quarantine (remember those times?), when schools, universities and colleges were closed, and now, due to the full-scale war and the departure of many Ukrainians abroad, everything has become even more complicated.
If we talk about tutors, this is a great part-time job for those who are well versed in a certain area of knowledge and can help others learn it. We'll give you a secret: if you know a foreign language well (English or Spanish is in favour now, as well as German), then publish your offer right now. We guarantee that if you show yourself as a cool almost-native speaker, both people and money will be drawn to you.

If we talk about teaching, then nowadays, English teachers are in favour here, as well as those who are able to help children learn maths at NMT. Nowadays, there are a lot of online schools that provide additional learning services, compensating for gaps in knowledge due to the not always high-quality and complete education in public schools. Do you remember the recent scandal where a girl failed a test? This is not an isolated phenomenon, so additional education is now considered almost a must-have in Ukrainian families.
Online schools are also used by Ukrainians who have moved abroad but want their children to have not only education in their country of residence, but also Ukrainian education in accordance with our programmes and standards. So, basically, you will be expected to give video lectures to children (either one student or a group, it depends on how it goes), and you will also have to give them assignments and check them later. The only downside here is that you will not be given a red pen, which you may have dreamed of since childhood.
Salaries in this area start from 25-30 thousand hryvnias, given that you will have a fairly flexible work schedule and can conduct more classes and increase your earnings accordingly - this is very good.
Sales Manager
Everything is clear here, who hasn't heard of such positions. But here you do not work "on the ground", but arrange everything on the Internet. In fact, you can sell anything online - from goods to services or educational courses. The only thing that can theoretically limit your earnings in this area is the volume of products sold, because usually the salary includes a fixed part and a percentage of sales as a motivation tool for the manager. The more you sell, the more you earn, it's as simple as that!

Your responsibilities, in addition to the actual communication with the client on sales, will also include managing the online store, keeping records, etc. In the case of selling educational courses, this usually means assisting in their implementation, communicating with clients, and sometimes you may be entrusted with checking the tests that the students will take.
The level of salaries in this area is different, it all depends on your experience and the company's profile, but the most attractive thing about this option is that it is available absolutely without any previous experience.
UX/UI designer
UI design is a very popular specialty nowadays, as no website or application can do without this element of development. Therefore, hybrid vacancies for UX/UI designers are not uncommon nowadays.

Of course, remote jobs mostly require you to have some experience, and most employers consider two years to be the minimum possible period. Of course, you need to be proficient in applications like Figma and the like, without which the work of an interface designer is basically impossible.
Your task will be to make the site or application attractive from the outside, as simple and understandable as possible for any user. You will also be partially responsible for cross-platform compatibility, meaning that the site will work equally well in different browsers and on different devices. Salaries in this area usually start from 35-40 thousand hryvnias and above.
Online marketer
We will also add the SMM position here, because again, the requirements and job responsibilities are often blurred into one, if we talk specifically about these positions. They are both designed to promote a business on the Internet, to summarise.
Only SMM is a narrower concept, it is tied to cooperation in social networks and the media (based on the term itself), and it also includes targeted advertising. This means that the list of your responsibilities will be much narrower, which will also be a plus, keep this in mind!

And positions for online marketers involve more general things, i.e. working to ensure that as many people as possible leave requests and buy goods or services online. The responsibilities of an online marketer can vary depending on the structure of the company. On the other hand, more responsibilities mean more salary, so choose what you want and can afford."
Salaries here start at around 35-40 thousand hryvnias, but can be higher, depending on your performance in the position.
The position fully involves remote work, you do not need to physically "sit on your hands" in the office, because your responsibilities will mostly include analytical work, you will need to collect statistics, select and analyse previously chosen strategies and communication in order to establish cooperation with influencers and the media.
You will most likely have a flexible work schedule, but be prepared to work "here and now" sometimes, as the situation requires it.
HR manager
Salaries are also very high here, depending on whether you have done this before and how much you are immersed in the intricacies of the profession. If, for example, you know your way around the company's operations and also know a lot about HR, management psychology, and how to make sure that all colleagues are happy and don't quarrel with each other, you can be paid tens of thousands a month because you literally provide the work.
Don't confuse HR with HR. An HR manager is essentially a clerk, while an HR manager conducts interviews, selects candidates, evaluates them, and works with those already recruited to make them feel comfortable and have enough coffee/sweets. And yes, all this can be done remotely, as many people are doing it now because of the war and the dangers associated with it."
